What changed- Opening hours went from a 6pm close to a 10pm close, which was the single most backed thing on the list
- Accessible changerooms are in the concept design rather than deferred to a later stage
- The outdoor deck stays outside the ticketed area, so it can be used without paying
What didn't change- The 25m pool. The operating budget cannot carry it alongside the hours, and the swim club will move to Ferngate.
- Entry pricing. It is set under the aquatic services contract and is not council's to change until 2030.
- The site. It is the only council-owned parcel within walking distance of both high schools.
